BAA Summer Academy | “North American Narratives of Crisis and Repair, Past and Present” | 01.06.2026-08.06.2026
Heike Paul is the co-organizer of the 14th international summer academy of the Bavarian American Academy (BAA), which focuses on “North American Narratives of Crisis and Repair, Past and Present”. The summer academy takes place from Monday, June 1, to Monday, June 8, in Tutzing at Lake Starnberg in Germany and is organized by the BAA in cooperation with the Akademie für Politische Bildung Tutzing. As part of the seminar “Writing America: The United States at 250”, organized by the Centro Studi Americani in Rome, Heike Paul is invited to give two talks and participate in a roundtable discussion. New Project | Research Group “Neoimperialismus als Herausforderung der Gegenwart”
Together with Martin Schulze-Wessel and Carlo Masala, Heike Paul joins the new research group “Neoimperialismus als Herausforderung der Gegenwart“ (Neoimperalism as the Challenge of the Present) at the Bavarian Academy of Sciences and Humanities (BAdW) as a PI.
