Heike Paul is invited by the Juristische Studiengesellschaft Karlsruhe to give a talk about the current state of political culture in the U.S. (original title in German: "Zur Lage der politischen Kultur in den USA") at the German Federal Court of Justice (Bundesgerichtshof) at Karlsruhe. The talk will center on the differing views and approaches towards American politics, society, and history as represented by the two likely candidates in the upcoming American presidential elections in November 2024, Joe Biden and Donald Trump, putting them into a broader perspective.
