Heike Paul is invited to give a keynote lecture at the workshop "Umweltethik und Klimagerechtigkeit" ('Environmental Ethics and Climate Justice'), organized by the DFG-funded research network "Energy and Literature: Texts, Theories, and Methods. A Comparative Cultural Studies Perspective," held March 25-27, 2025 at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg. The title of her talk is "The Romance of Extraction and Its Discontents in U.S. Culture" (on Thursday, March 27, 2025).
