The Schelling Forum at Würzburg University organizes an event on the upcoming US presidential and congressional elections with Heike Paul, together with Christian Lammert (Professor for North American Politics and Policy at the John F. Kennedy Institute at FU Berlin), and Atlanta-based author and print and radio journalist Katja Ridderbusch. The three will talk about the state of the American political system at the present moment, party-political, social, and cultural tensions during the campaigns, and possible perspectives for the time following the election. The official title of the German-language event is: "Die USA vor der Wahl: Einblicke in eine gespaltene Gesellschaft."
